I have over 20 years of experience practicing massage with many thousands of hours of giving and receiving massages. During my first personal massage session at the old medicine hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand, my massage therapist informed me how my own health issues could be corrected by applying pressure at different levels and pressure points of the body. She took the time to explain about my health issue from my pain at each area from the pressure points on the body. It amazed me what she was able to do and the release of pain I experienced. Because of that experience, I decided to take a 60 hour Thai massage course in 2004 to learn more about how pain and illness in our body reacts to applied pressure. The more I learned the more excited I became, providing sincere motivation for me to learn more details and techniques and make this my profession.
In 2006 I completed a 560 hour program in Thai Traditional Medicine in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Afterward I continued to pursue more advanced methods and techniques. I additionally studied through my commitment to continuing education. I have studied specific techniques including Swedish, Deep tissue, Sport massage, Myofascial release, Aromatherapy, Prenatal, Lomi Lomi, Trigger point, foot massage,Tok Sen (wood pounding), Ashiatsu (Foot Pressure). Most recently in March 2021, I completed 600 hour in a Massage therapy training program from Hawaii Healing Arts College.
In addition to my practice, my experience includes a position as an assistant Thai massage instructor in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I have dedicated myself to understanding which techniques are best applied to specific pain issues. I have had the unique opportunity to practice and learn techniques in Thailand and the United States. This unique opportunity is an aspect I continue to prioritize for the benefit of my clients.
I offer an array of services to assist in balancing energy, body and mind. My primary massage style is a blend of a variety of techniques which I customize to each client’s unique issues. Traditional Thai medicine is my foundation upon which other types of massage are integrated to relieve pain, tension, and tightness. If a relaxing and soothing session is desired by a client, I also have spa style massage training and experience.
I want to say thank you so very much to everyone who has trusted and supported me over the past years working as a massage therapist in Hawaii. I am always striving to be a better therapist in every step of my practice. That motivation allows me to provide the best quality of massage to my clients and place a smile on their face.
Sincerely,
Thanitsa Chirapantipa.
